In his practice works with reshaping of the cultural codes of modernity, naming this process «the search for the crystal of the purest craziness.» He has dealing with different techniques, but sculpture occupies a significant section of the artworks. He tends to expand the palette of techniques, also appealing to ready-mades. As the basic artistic strategy Ivan considers endless remodeling («search and improve»). An important part of this strategy is also called the search for successful matches, constructing a chain of circumstances required for a new situation in the artwork («generator of happy accidents»).

Born in 1986 in Voronezh. Graduated from Voronezh State Pedagogical University, Faculty of Art Education. Ivan was the founding member of the Voronezh Center for Contemporary Art from 2009 to 2018. He was a scholarship holder of the Garage Museum grant program for artists working in the field of contemporary art.  Artist of the Year in «Cosmoscow 2017 Art Fair». Laureate of the XV State Prize «Innovation» in the field of contemporary art in nomination «Artist of the Year» — the project «Everything Fountain» (2020). Nominee of the Kandinsky Prize 2021 in nomination «New Generation.»

His personal exhibitions were held in Berlin, Vienna, Voronezh, Moscow, Paris, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga, Vyksa, Rostov, Vladivostok. Among them, projects «Parkur» (space of young art START, Moscow, 2010), Instant bliss (Knoll galerie Wien, Vienna, 2013), The way of King’s pie (Diehl Cube, Berlin, 2015), «Creme brulee» (New Holland, St. Petersburg, 2018), «Everything Fountain » (Moscow Museum of Modern Art, 2019), «Ce Life» (gallery H.L.A.M., Voronezh, 2020).
